RBs go online with PLDT, Encash Print

Four of the country’s major and leading rural banks recently signed up for the new, modular, and advanced Core banking solution, Encash Savant.

RBs go onlineGM Bank of Nueva Ecija, Bank of Florida of Pampanga, Bangko Kabayan of Batangas, and 1st Valley Bank of Lanao del Norte, now provide true, effective, and secure ATM services through the web-based Savant suite of applications. The product is designed to provide rural banks with a centralized, multi-branch, online system with account balance updates performed in real time. In cooperation with PLDT Business Solutions, Savant utilizes the new shops work unplugged (SWUP) wireless data communication service, allowing the banks to achieve significant savings in keeping their remote branches online. The entire suite of International Accounting Standards (IAS)-compliant applications consist of solutions for the complete deposit system and loans, which include microfinance and general ledger.
